COVID-19 Vaccine in Massachusetts

Update (February 18, 2021):

Dear Members,

As many of you have probably seen, Governor Baker and the Massachusetts Department of Public Health announced we are moving into the next stage of the vaccine roll-out.  Starting today (Thursday, February 18th), anyone age 65 and older, individuals living or working in low income or affordable senior housing, and those age 16 or older with two high risk medical conditions are eligible for a COVID-19 vaccine.

Please see the following list of medical conditions considered high risk by the CDC:

PersonalMDs does not currently have the COVID-19 vaccine available.  We encourage you to use the new state website to check for vaccine availability: You may also call the Massachusetts vaccine hotline at 2-1-1.  With this new wave of Phase 2, over one million Massachusetts residents will be eligible to receive the vaccine.  Please try to be patient, as there will be limited appointment availability in the coming weeks.

A letter from your physician documenting your high risk medical conditions is not required to schedule an appointment.  Eligibility for vaccination is based on self attestation.

Best personal regards,
Tania Bandak, MD, MPH
Jeffrey Bass, MD
Rachel Haims, MD
Ronald Katz, MD
Laurie Katzman, MD
Brad Weiner, MD
