Excellent primary care begins with compassionate, trusting, and personal relationships. With more than twenty-five years of experience in internal medicine, Dr. Ben Crocker partners closely with patients to understand their health goals, navigate complex medical problems, and support long-term well-being through thoughtful, individualized care.
Prior to joining PersonalMDs, Dr. Crocker co-founded and served as medical director of an innovative primary care practice at Massachusetts General Hospital focused on team-driven, patient-centered care. His work included planning and implementing new approaches to practice redesign, health and wellness coaching, and the thoughtful use of technology to support clinicians and patients.
More recently, while continuing clinical practice as a Mass General Brigham Urgent Care physician, Dr. Crocker served as Senior Vice President of Care Design and Innovation at IKS Health, partnering with healthcare organizations to develop solutions that reduce administrative burden and allow clinicians to focus more fully on patient care.
Dr. Crocker also has contributed clinically in several specialized settings, including Massachusetts General Hospital Executive Health Services and global telemedicine consultation. As an Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School, Dr. Crocker has taught medical students and residents, and he served as a team physician for the Boston Bruins.
Dr. Crocker completed his internal medicine residency at Boston Medical Center where he served as Chief Medical Resident, and he is board-certified in Internal Medicine.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Crocker enjoys genealogy research, choral music with his church choir and the Copley Singers of Boston, spinning, and spending time outdoors. He and his wife live in Arlington and have two sons.
